舞蹈藝術家 Dance Artist
Yang Hao is an artist born in Chongqing China now base in Hong Kong. He trained in dance at Beijing from age 12-16. he dancing with companies such as The Chinese National Opera And Theatre Dance Troupe, Guang Dong Morden Dance Company etc. He received a full scholarship to study at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Art (BFA)in 2007, and he join City Contemporary Dance Company as a dancer from 2009-2012. He was resident artist in SIDance Festival Dance Exchange 2013, Dance WEB scholarship receiver for ImpulseTanz 2014, yet from 2015-2016 he was the first year of Arts Fellow of Yale University, supported by Yale China and HK Economic Trade Office in New York.
He has commissioned and showed his work in international festivals, such as Hong Kong Arts Festival 2012 Rush, 2014 Outspoken, 2016 Pied A Terre, 2018 Flying Me To The Moon, Hong Kong I-dance Festival 2017 Middle New Haven international Festival Arts Ideas 2016 Pied A Terre and Middle.
Since 2014 he start to collaborated with Alice Rensy, in 2017 they have received culture exchange funding from HKADC for showing their work in GuangDong Dance Festival and created together Variation for A4 Museum in Chengdu. Their new ongoing research Dance Up Comedy is to twilling contemporary dance and stand-up comedy together, The Legend of Hao Hao is a first stage of a series of shows, commissioned by Hong Kong Arts Develop Council New Arts Power program in 2018-2019. He will be residency artist in Hong Kong Arts Centre from Feb 2020, and his new work “The Legend Of Hao Hao” will be on tour in Mainland China.
